Dog owners are reminded that it is illegal to allow their dog to defecate on private property without the consent of the property owner. It is illegal to allow dogs to defecate on public property. Defecation by a dog on public property shall not constitute a violation of the law if the owner of the dog immediately removes the material defecated and disposes of it in a safe and sanitary manner. Be a good neighbor; be responsible for your dog.
