Riverbend Park

This park consists of 22 acres surrounded by the Tygart Valley River. The park has three lighted Little League fields, a regulation soccer field, several smaller soccer fields, a jogging and walking trail which follows the meandering riverside, two pavilions, playground equipment and picnic sites. A foot bridge over the Tygart River connects Riverbend Park to the newest addition to the park system: Glendale Park.

Electricity is available at the large pavilions.

Large Pavilion (electricity):

• $30 Half Weekday
• $50 Full Weekday
• $50 Weekend

Small Pavilion:

• $20 Half Weekday
• $35 Full Weekday
• $35 Weekend

Pavilion Rental

Park pavilions are available to rent from May through October on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations must be paid within two weeks, or the date will be reopened. Thirty days notice must be given to the EPRC office in the event of a cancellation of the reservation. Reservation fees will not be returned after this date. The pavilion fees cover events with up to 150 people. Prices will be set by the EPRC for any event over 150 people. For pavilion reservations, forms and other information call the Parks Commission, (304) 636-3960 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Pavilion Reservation Request forms are also available online.  Reservation dates and times are not valid until confirmed via telephone at (304) 636-3960; until verbal confirmation, they are merely requests.
