9. NEW BUSINESS

a. Proposed Resolution 105, authorizing application for Community Participation Program grant funds for the benefit of the Elkins YMCA.

b. Proposed Resolution 106, authorizing application for Community Participation Program grant funds for improvements to Glendale Park.

c. Proposed Resolution No. 107, expressing council’s position concerning the proposed Laurel Mountain windmill farm project.

d. Proposed Resolution No. 108, approving invoice(s) and authorizing Draw No. 5 of Waterworks System Design Bond Anticipation Notes, Series 2007.

e. Proposed Resolution No. 109, approving invoice(s) and authorizing Draw No. 3 of the Huntington National Bank line of credit established for the benefit of Water fund emergency repairs and ongoing operations.

f. Employee travel:
i. Various operational employees for a day trip to Charleston for the WV Construction and Design Exposition.


ii. Overnight lodging in Charleston for water fund plant personnel to attend the WV Construction and Design Exposition.

iii. Street department assistant supervisor to Wheeling for the 16th Annual Roadway Management Conference, a 3-day event.

g. Request by Girls on the Run to perform a 5K Walk/Run.

h. Proposed Ordinance 074, establishing a mandatory municipal court fee assessment for purposes of funding the Randolph County Teen Court Program.
