d. Proposed Ordinance 067, authorizing the issuance of Water Fund Bond Anticipation Notes, Series 2007, second and final reading.

e. Consideration of and action upon any supplemental resolutions necessary to perfect the Water Fund Bond Anticipation Notes, Series 2007.


8. NEW BUSINESS

a. Employee travel:
i. Water employees to South Charleston for a LT2 Rules training seminar: Watershed Protection, Water Source Control Protection and Water treatment.

ii. Police receptionist to Canaan Valley Resort for WV Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials.


b. Chamber of Commerce request to conduct its annual Christmas Parade.

c. Proposed Resolution 094, Supporting long-term solution for West Virginia’s bridges, roads and highways.

d. Tygart Valley High School request to conduct its annual Tournament of Bands.

e. Patrick Varchetto’s request to block off parking spaces on Railroad Avenue sufficient to accommodate the Mountain State Blue Cross and Blue Shield Health Bus for client screening.

f. Request by Girls on the Run to conduct a 5K walk/run.

g. Proposed Ordinance 068, governing the installation and operation of wood and/or coal fired boilers.

a. Building – Building permit applications 3469 thru 3491. Application 3296 remains partially acted upon.


10. MAYOR’S COMMENTS AND OTHER BUSINESS

a. Acknowledgement of City’s generosity by Davis and Elkins College upon the occasion of the dedication of the McDonnell Center for Health, Physical Education and Athletics.

b. Receipt of the Independent Auditor’s Report and Related Financial Statements, for the year ended June 30, 2007, for the Elkins-Randolph County Library.

c. Receipt of the Independent Auditor’s Report and Related Financial Statements, for the years ended June 30, 2006 and 2005, for the Randolph-Elkins Board of Health.
