a. Petition of the Elkins Sanitary Board requesting that Elkins City Council enact an ordinance directing the issuance of sewer revenue bonds.
b. Second reading of the City’s Proposed Ordinance 059, providing for the issuance of its Sewer Revenue Bonds, Series 2006 A (West Virginia State Revolving Fund Program) (the “Sewer Bonds”) to: (i) refund the outstanding Sewerage System Bond Anticipation Notes, Series 2006; (ii) pay a portion of the costs of acquisition and construction of additions, improvements and betterments of the existing pubic sewerage facilities of the City; and (iii) pay certain costs of issuance of the Sewer Bonds.
7. NEW BUSINESS
a. To consider and act upon a Resolution 073, authorizing the first construction draw of Sewer Revenue Bonds, Series 2006 A.
b. To consider and act upon any measures related to the foregoing Bonds or Resolution.
c. Recommendation to provide monthly funding for the depot’s Welcome Center for the remainder of FY 2006/2007.
d. Recommendation to modify police department compensation.
e. Recommendation that Elkins Sanitary Board be vested with authority to approve treatment plant upgrade project construction draws.
f. Recommendation to approve application for a city credit card.
g. Closure of city hall to the public on Thanksgiving Friday.
h. Proposal to authorize the fire department to sell fire service contracts to entities outside the city limit.
