a. Proposed Ordinance 043, revision municipal election law, no action to be taken at this meeting.
b. Proposed Ordinance 047, amending the Limited Video Lottery regulations, no action to be taken, pending a Planning Commission public hearing.
c. Proposed Ordinance 052, regarding persons who fail to appear in Elkins Municipal Court, second and final reading.
d. Proposed Ordinance 053, adding sections to Elkins City Code regarding interruption of the flow of traffic by persons improperly opening vehicle doors; disabling communication devices used to contact emergency personnel; and urinating in public, second and final reading.
7. NEW BUSINESS
a. Employee travel – 3 water fund employees to Canaan Valley Resort September 10-13.
b. Authorization for mayor to execute a license agreement pertaining to the permitted use of a city logo.
c. Authorization to execute a contract with the WV Office of Economic Opportunity to obtain grant funds for Women’s Aid in Crisis and the Randolph County Homeless Shelter.
d. Request of the Randolph County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to receive a $2,500 contribution budgeted for the 17th Annual Ramp Festival scheduled for April 2007.
e. Request of the Mountain State Forest Festival Association, Inc. for permission to serve alcoholic beverages at the September 30 wing cook off to be held at D&E College.
f. Authority to execute a professional service contract with Phillips Group for the Community Development Vision for 2010 initiative.
g. Proposed Resolution 068, providing for reimbursement of WWTP upgrade expenses.
h. Acquisition of new mainframe computer software and hardware.
