c. Proposed Ordinance 042, amending the rate of certain business fees, second reading.

d. Permanent employment status of Richard Delphey, Landfill Worker.


8. NEW BUSINESS

a. Employee travel:

i. Treasurer Crosston and Revenue Officer Chenoweth to Wheeling April 26-27 for the Government Finance Officers Association Spring Meeting.

ii. Interested officials and/or employees to the WV State Auditor’s Office 2006 Municipal Officials and Assistants Seminar.

b. Proposed Ordinance 041, adopting the International Building Codes and the West Virginia Building Codes, first reading.

c. Proposed Ordinance 043, revising municipal election law, no action to be taken at this meeting.

d. Proposed Ordinance 044, providing for reimbursement by offenders of the cost of incarceration in the Regional Jail.

e. Permission for the Randolph County Airport Authority to donate two used generators to the Randolph County Office of Emergency Services for use at Camp Pioneer.

f. Appointment of members of the Elkins, West Virginia Firemen’s Civil Service Commission.

b. Finance – Payoff of a lease/purchase agreement.
c. Municipal Property – Fire department roof.


10. MAYOR’S COMMENTS AND OTHER BUSINESS

a. Public Service Commission’s scheduling of a May 18, 2006 hearing in Case No. 06-0209-S-MA, City of Elkins, a municipal corporation, Randolph County. Investigation and suspension of increase in sewer rates and charges as a result of petitions filed in accordance with West Virginia Code §24-2-4b.
